INTERNAL SALES AND MARKETING SUPPORT

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:

  • Acting as a contact point between customers in the Gulf Region and the order fulfilment department based in Germany
  • Creating and processing quotations
  • Communicating with service providers and customers
  • Supporting the GCC Sales Manager and assisting with the planning and implementation of sales activities
  • Helping to research markets and potential partners
  • Organising the showroom, exhibits and marketing materials
  • Assisting visitors in the showroom
  • Managing the local warehouse "GCC stock range"
  • Producing presentations and creating analyses/statistics according to the needs of the Sales Manager GCC
  • Organising events in cooperation with local agencies
  • Coordinating local marketing activities (both digital and analogue) in cooperation with the Marketing department in Germany

WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU:

  • Completed commercial training qualification
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in an internal sales team (desirable)
  • Ideally, industry experience in the (office) furniture sector
  • Proficiency in current Microsoft Office applications and preferably skills and experience in planning programmes such as pCon-Planner
  • Structured, customer- and process-oriented approach to work and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Good communication skills and motivation to work independently
  • Very good spoken and written English; knowledge of Arabic and/or German would be advantageous
  • Reliability, flexibility and ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines
